Defining Homelessness
The most common cause of homelessness is a lack of affordable housing. Although homelessness isn’t simply the result of a single event. In fact, people can find themselves homeless due to an array of circumstances existing concurrently and together this results in the loss of housing.

Low paying jobs, financial troubles, childhood trauma, world events, personal crises, and domestic violence are some of the issues that can put an individual or family in imminent risk of homelessness and ultimately homeless.
